Rosanna Tarricone graduated in Business Administration at the Bocconi University and got the MSc in health services management and PhD in health economics at the University of London. She is Associate Professor in Healthcare Management and Head of Department of Economic Evaluation Analysis for healthcare programmes at CERGAS Bocconi University. She is Director of the Master of International Health Care Management, Economics and Policy (MIHMEP) at the Bocconi University School of Management (SDA). Her main areas of research are: HTA, healthcare management, health economics, economic analysis of healthcare services, and health policy with a special focus on to different health care systems.
She has been involved in many different research projects at national and international levels and has established scientific collaborations with prominent international institutions such as the WHO and the World Bank. She is author of many research papers in health economics, health policy and of a textbook on Economic Evaluation Analysis and Management of healthcare programmes.
She is member of the international Association of Health Economics (iHEA) and of the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcome Research (ISPOR). Additionally, she is Director of the Economic Affairs Department at Eucomed. She is Executive Director of the European Health Technology Institute for Socio-Economic Research.
