We achieve this through a dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced Secretariat team and a network of specialist groups comprising key experts nominated by the Members and supported by first class project management and highly efficient internal and external communications. Our electronic newsletters, publications and website are specially designed to meet our Members' needs, as are the numerous working groups in which they are invited to participate.
Our goal is to be instrumental in alleviating or overcoming potential problems for our Members, and to provide the European Medical Technology Industry with opportunities to operate, innovate and market more freely in an open and competitive market-place. From manufacturers of high volume consumables and capital-intensive machinery to marketers of leading-edge diagnostic services and new concepts, Members view their participation in Eucomed as an important business strategic decision.
Eucomed is the leading European medical technology industry network; it represents over 4,500 companies across Europe via its national associations and direct corporate membership and provides a forum where industry can exchange ideas and build consensus.
Eucomed’s expert groups develop industry positions regarding the large and increasing number of EU decisions that impact the European medical technology industry; each member has the opportunity to influence industry thinking on key issues.
Recognised by the European Institutions as the voice of the medical technology sector, Eucomed is uniquely placed to inform policy-making due to its extensive knowledge of and partnership with key EU decision-makers. Eucomed also represents the views of the sector on the international stage.
